Lily Soli & Silver Our Riders Update

Hi, I am Lily Williams-Musitano born Hampshire 2007, moved to Wiltshire in 2011 with my parents Steve and Karen.

I have always been around horses from watching my Mum on the side lines in the pushchair to learning to ride age 4.  Progressing from lead rein/first ridden showing classes to specializing in competing Side Saddle with my first pony Woodroyd GB.  GB and I travelled around the UK competing and demonstrating the fine art of Side Saddle riding and even got to compete in France at the European Side Saddle Nationals in 2016 and 2017 for Team GB.

Having tried just about every discipline with GB with much success lots of Championship ribbons, trophies and sashes. My attention focused on Side Saddle Showing & Dressage on my next pony a Welsh B Palomino, Doddenhill Petit Fleur achieving our goal in 2018 to compete at the Royal Welsh achieving top Junior in a mixed class, we also made an appearance on Welsh TV.  In 2019 we got the chance to buy back our homebred 14.2hh Moon Solitaire which has been amazing. Soli has given me the confidence to take up show jumping as my main discipline, as this is just one of Soli’s skills, next year we will have a try at some Eventing as she really loves Cross Country.  I am lucky enough to have great parents and now have a 2nd pony, the wonderful Argentinium Silver a 14hh JC , who I will be looking to take up the heights in Restricted Rider classes and Just for Schools, with the aim of qualifying for Nationals.

I attend Stonar School in Atworth, Wiltshire where I am a member of the School Show Jumping Teams and have plans for being able to qualify for the Just for Schools Championships with both ponies.  My aims for 2021 are to Qualify and Compete at any available National Championships, Just for Schools Championships and British Show Jumping Championships – fingers crossed we get out enough to achieve these goals.
